A new arrival point on the water

Wynn Al Marjan Island has revealed plans for Wynn Marina, a 98-berth superyacht facility forming part of its integrated resort in Ras Al Khaimah.

The 5 October announcement presents the marina as both an entry point for guests arriving by sea and a waterfront attraction for people staying at or visiting the resort.

Wynn says its capacity for yachts and larger vessels will exceed that of any other hotel-attached marina in the UAE. The basin is planned to accommodate superyachts and megayachts up to 85 metres long.

A circular harbour at the heart of the resort

Rather than a conventional linear arrangement, Wynn Marina will place its berths around a sheltered circular harbour. The layout is intended to be visible from surrounding rooms, terraces, dining venues and promenades.

Yachts, activity on the water and Gulf sunsets will become part of the resort’s outlook. Marina and Ocean Estates accommodation will sit around the waterfront, linking the harbour with the wider hospitality setting.

The wider development

Where the marina fits into Wynn’s resort

Gulf News reports that Wynn Al Marjan Island is scheduled to open in September 2027. The marina release itself lists the resort opening year as 2027, without announcing a separate opening date for the harbour.

The resort plans include 1,530 rooms and suites and 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, alongside a theatre, beach club, spa, retail promenade and events centre.

According to Gulf News, the estimated construction cost reached about US$5.7 billion after a US$600 million increase. The report also notes a 550-metre beachfront with a lagoon and engineered offshore reef.

The marina reveal follows announcements covering Enclave townhomes and two seven-bedroom Royal Apartments in the 70-storey Resort Tower.
