One Broker Group LLC ('we', 'us', or 'our') is a licensed real estate agency registered in the UAE (ORN: 17196). We manage and operate RAKcompare (rakcompare.ae), a digital marketing platform focused on off-plan property developments in Ras Al Khaimah including Al Marjan Island, Al Hamra Village, and RAK Central.
This Privacy Policy explains how One Broker Group LLC collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data submitted through or collected via the RAKcompare website. It applies to all visitors, enquirers, and prospective buyers who interact with our platform.
This policy is governed by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (UAE PDPL). Where we process personal data of individuals located in the EEA or the UK, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR apply concurrently. For California residents, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) / California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) also applies. All three frameworks are addressed in this policy.
Personal data we collect
When you submit an enquiry form, request a callback, or contact us through RAKcompare:
- Full name, email address, phone number
- Nationality or country of residence
- Budget range and property preferences
- Preferred development or area of interest
- Any information included in a free-text message
When you visit rakcompare.ae, we and our third-party service providers automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, and referral source
- Cookie identifiers (subject to your consent, see Section 6)
- Google Ads, if you clicked an advertisement before visiting our site

Legal basis for processing
Under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, we process your data on the following bases: your explicit consent; the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request; our legitimate interests in operating a property comparison platform, provided those interests do not override your rights; and compliance with a legal obligation.
For visitors located in the EEA or United Kingdom, we rely on the equivalent lawful bases under Article 6 of the GDPR: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)). Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object at any time (see Section 8).
We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. We share data with service providers under written data processing agreements for business purposes only. California residents have the rights set out in Section 8.3.

One Broker Group LLC is based in the UAE. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UAE, including countries within the EEA and the United States, where our service providers (including Google LLC) operate.
Where we transfer personal data outside the UAE, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the UAE PDPL, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), transfers to countries with adequate data protection, and Data Processing Agreements with all processors.
For EEA and UK data subjects, international transfers to the United States are covered by SCCs in accordance with GDPR Chapter V requirements.

Children's privacy
RAKcompare is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted data through our site, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. The effective date at the top of this document will be revised accordingly. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email (if we hold your address) or by displaying a prominent notice on RAKcompare.
